Developer, Investor and Philanthropist

Marc Ezralow is President of The Ezralow Company, a diversified real estate development and investment firm based in Southern California with projects throughout the U.S. Marc oversees the real estate portfolio and strategic investments in a wide range of industries including finance, technology, film and energy.

An active investor, Marc is passionate about providing financial support and mentorship to driven entrepreneurs with promising ideas.  A number of startups championed by Marc have successfully merged into larger companies or become public.

Influenced by his mother’s illness, cancer has long been important to Marc. He is a Director of the John Wayne Cancer Institute, a Trustee of the Saint John’s Health Center Foundation and a leading supporter of the USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center.

“My mother was such a strong force in so many lives, but I saw how she struggled with ovarian cancer for two decades. No one else should have to suffer like that.’’

Marc spent the early part of his career in the film industry. He started in the mailroom and then worked as a junior agent at Triad (later the William Morris Agency) before launching his own company, Revolution Films. Revolution pioneered new approaches to financing and produced a dozen feature films, including FREEWAY with Reese Witherspoon. Marc also founded Revolution Multi-Media, a ground-breaking digital content firm that was acquired by a public company.

Throughout his 20-plus years in the film industry, Marc remained involved with The Ezralow Company. He joined The Ezralow Company fulltime in 1997.

Marc attended the University of Southern California and received a bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine University. Marc is a third-generation Angeleno. He and his wife, Gayle Ezralow, have three children and live in Los Angeles.

A producer and the founder of Revolution Films, Marc Ezralow was behind several Hollywood hits including BROWN’S REQUIEM, BACK TO BACK, ONE TOUGH COP and THE MINION. His critically acclaimed film FREEWAY, starring Reese Witherspoon, received the coveted “Two Thumbs Up” from Siskel and Ebert’s At the Movies. True to its name, Revolution Films revolutionized film financing as one of the first companies to structure loans for feature films funded by large banking institutions.
